Topology of our minds
If our mind were to be analogous to a geographical area, where topological crests depict thoughts or memories with preferred emotions, perhaps of joy, and troughs depict memories with emotions deferred, perhaps of low mood; distinct crests impact where our thoughts are likely to drift next, whether into the high plains with constant feeling of bliss, or downhill into a ditch, where unprocessed memories and emotions capture our consciousness into a rut, from where one sinks into swamp of despair, and all one could see around is dry roots and remains of lost hope. Some minds are swampy in most parts, some are high plains with rare or unidentified areas of fall, some like badlands where constant erosion, has shaped the topology to create steep cliffs. One's consciousness, when not seated in its seat of the observer, drifts into these terrains, attracted, and often captivated, by the different energy fields of different thoughts, memories and emotions.
